Short Story
I mentioned the ghosts earlier, well around the time Peeves, The Grey Lady and Bloody Baron joined us, there happend some things and one of our students - Simba - wrote a story about that!
Our Ghosts
And how they really are.
You all have heard from them. Maybe you’ve seen them. Or even chatted a bit. But did you ever really know them? I took a closer look at the ghosts of Hogwarts. Be prepared to learn shocking new details about their private life (and even their sexual activities!).
It was just a few hours ago and me and Prof. Sharon were walking down the hallway because I had a question about a homework. Suddenly we heard loud voices as if someone was arguing. Because we had nothing better to do and the Prof supposed, it was Peeves getting on someone’s nerves again, we tiptoed closer to the classroom the voices were coming from. And indeed it was Peeves but not only him. We couldn’t have been more surprised, discovering that he was deeply in an argument with the Bloody Baron and the Grey Lady herself.
Instead of walking away, we decided it would be more fun to wait and see (or better hear) what was going to happen. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. At first they weren’t arguing about something important until Peeves tried to make a compliment to the beautiful Helena. Of course this disturbed the a bit spooky Baron more than he could ever admit. The Lady wasn’t really offended because even if Peeves compliment was a bit creepy (He told her she had pretty arms), she knew he actually meant it well. Still she told him to stop. To be honest I think, she only did that because she’s still in love with the Baron even if he kind of caused her death.
Her death and what the Baron had to do with it was the next thing the ghosts discussed. It was Peeve’s only argument against the other two having a date. At this point in the conversation the three ghosts already discovered me and the Prof. listening in front of the door. (Which is, be the way, I have to write this. The Baron wants a proof he is awesome. Same with Peeves. But this is an article so I’ll have to stay down to earth. No one can buy me.)
Peeve’s idea was to disturb the other two while they were meeting each other around midnight. So I asked him the only question that came to my mind that could probably stop him from doing that. I asked (of course) if ghosts could have sex. And dear other students you won’t believe the answer. It was YES! Ghosts can actually have sex. (Isn’t this exciting? Even if I don’t get how this should work…) But because I don’t want to risk losing housepoints I’ll leave that subject here.
In the end I couldn’t persuade Peeves to stay calm and the Bloody Baron seemed to be at the end of his nerves. But for me the big questions stay. Does Peeves really love the Lady or does he just want to be annoying? Is the Lady naive for still going out with the Baron after everything that happened?
We don’t know it. In the end the moral of the story is: Stop to listen if ghosts argue because you really don’t want to miss the newest school gossip.
Stay tuned for the next classroom whisper story.
