Welcome!
The idea of this thread, is to have a weekly or monthly moment where we watch or read something (Harry Potter related, of course) together. Whether it's only a chapter, one whole movie or a complete marathon. This way we can pretend we're all together in one big theater watching our favorite movies and discussing them afterwards. Or, if we're reading, we pretend we're in the library reading the books together and then discussing them right there. Oh well, that isn't even the point. The point is to do stuff together and have fun, without having to travel the world (although I think many of us wouldn't mind that. It's the money holding us back... God I'm drifting off).

What? (always taking ideas)
The idea is to set a date and time for everyone who wants to participate and then start (for example) the movie at that exact time, so everyone will watch the same thing at (approx.) the same time. Afterwards we can talk about the terrible and beautiful things we just saw.
If we're going to read one of the books, we can set a deadline for everyone. For example, we could say: read five chapters before next week. Afterwards we can talk about the terrible and beautiful things we read.

When?
Well, since there's people from all over the world on here, we'll have to keep in mind not everyone will be awake at every given time. Which also means we cannot make desicions yet - only if everyone has agreed to the date and time et cetera, and we need you for that.

Where?
I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but no, we will not all fly to some country just to watch a movie or read a book. Sadly, we'll have to stay in our comfy rooms with our cute little laptops and just imagine everyone else being there too. Sorry :c

Why?
Well, we all like Harry Potter. Why wouldn't we? Also... procrastination.

We could set a date right now - like next week saturday to watch one or two movies - and decide at what time is best for everyone. I think if everyone sets a date on their own, things will get chaotic very fast.

As long as it is after tuesday it's fine by me. But I'm leaving on a skitrip the 30th of Januray so if you do something then I won't be able to join till the 8th. But you don't need to take that in account. I will read your comments afterwards if you wanna read a book then.

What if we say like the middle week of each month so around the 15th? And then the thread stays open for chat about that film for that month. That way people can watch whenever they can during the month so they can join in still
